Acting Your Age

Age is just a number.  Death is a part of life.  Living to the fullest is a choice.  Temperaments or personalities is who we are.  There are two people you can’t fool, one yourself and the other is God.

Jeff and I have been married for 33 years.  We know each other and we know how to push each others buttons, the good ones and the bad ones.  We know our love language, our personality, our leadership model and our style of communication.  We know the strong points and the weakest link.  Just because we have been together and truly know each other doesn’t mean we accept life as being “old” and worn out.  No, we don’t except average routine and we never stop going.  We love to explore, try new foods and travel to new places.

As we get older so does our passion about health grow.  We buy more organic food, go shopping together, prepare meals together and enjoy a nice night of family time.  We both choose to exercise.  He is an avid runner and has been for over 25 years.  Mornings he goes running and I choose boot camp, a high cardio 50 min workout.  I thought I would be the oldest in my class, I was wrong.  The oldest is 62. It’s only a number.

“Act your age” only words without a time limit.  If you don’t take care of your body when you are younger, your health will prove you are older than you look.  Let’s live life to the fullest, start something new today that will leave a legacy for others to follow.
